Usage protocol: The preparation of PRP consists in the collection of autologous venous blood, which is subsequently centrifuged and concentrated. The patient's blood is centrifuged at variable speeds until it separates into 3 layers: platelet-poor plasma, platelet-rich plasma, and red blood cells. The whole process takes about 12 minutes and produces platelets with a concentration 3-5 times higher than native plasma.
